How can Parenting & Partner Prep Classes support us?

Welcoming a baby changes relationships, routines, sleep, communication, and identity — all at once. These classes help parents and partners move into this new season as a team, with realistic expectations and practical skills.

Our classes help by:

  • Strengthening communication between partners and co-parents

  • Preparing support people to be confident, active participants — not bystanders

  • Setting realistic expectations for newborn life and recovery

  • Teaching hands-on newborn care basics

  • Helping families plan for rest, roles, and responsibilities

  • Addressing cultural traditions, family dynamics, and boundaries

  • Supporting emotional and mental health for both parents

  • Reducing overwhelm through clear, simple systems

  • Helping partners understand birth recovery and postpartum needs

  • Creating a shared vision for parenting values and home environment

What do Parenting & Partner Prep Classes look like?

These sessions are interactive, practical, and grounded in real-life scenarios — not just theory. Classes can be taken as a couple, co-parents, or with a key support person (friend, grandparent, sibling, etc.).

We create space for honest conversations, questions people are often afraid to ask, and tools you can use right away.

You’ll build confidence and skills in areas like:

• Newborn basics (feeding rhythms, soothing, diapering, sleep expectations)
• How partners/support people can actively help in the first weeks
• Division of labor and realistic household planning
• Protecting the birthing parent’s recovery time
• Communication tools for stress, sleep deprivation, and big emotions
• Understanding postpartum mood changes and when to seek help
• Navigating visitors, family expectations, and cultural traditions
• Bonding with baby for both parents
• Creating routines that support the whole family

…and more, based on your family’s needs.

The Momager Approach

We begin by learning about your family structure, intended parenting styles, cultural values, support systems, and concerns. From there, we tailor class discussions to reflect your real-life dynamics… whether you’re first-time parents, blending families, solo parenting with or without support people, or welcoming another baby.

These classes are not about “perfect parenting.” They’re about preparation, teamwork, and giving everyone a clear role so one person isn’t carrying everything alone.

You’ll leave with practical plans, conversation tools, and shared expectations that help reduce conflict and increase confidence once baby arrives.

Every family looks different … and this space honors that.

How do we help you navigate early parenting together?

The early weeks with a newborn can feel tender, messy, and beautiful all at once. Preparation doesn’t remove the challenges — but it does make them easier to move through as a connected team.

Our goal is for you to feel:

✨ More connected to each other
✨ More confident handling newborn care
✨ More prepared for emotional ups and downs
✨ More supported in your roles at home
